Monday - Youth Cafe
Our Youth Club is open every Monday 3.15pm - 5.30pm. It is a safe and friendly environment for young people to connect with others over games, sports, themed activities and workshops supporting their development and life skills.
Anyone can join from the ages of 8-12, however we do limit the number to 30 young people at a time to ensure we continue good quality youth work.
Entry fee is £1 which includes unlimited squash and a hot meal. We also provide a tuck shop with items for sale.

Tuesday - Andy Pandy's, Imaginative and Sensory Play
Every Tuesday 10am - 11.30am.
We believe in the importance of creating a space that will encourage children to have fun and use their amazing imaginations! We also acknowledge through conversations with local parents that many of the children in our community really enjoy different sensory experiences.
So, with this in mind we have created a play space that will combine the two from soft play, to a reading corner, dressing up, exploration tables, sensory pads and more.
We can’t wait to welcome you and your little people to the group. It’s going to be so much fun with play, songs, creative fun and friendship. £3 per child.
Any questions, get in touch with Briony via the contact us page.

Wednesday - Mamas Matter
This is a 10 week postnatal course/group. Our 4th group starts in February 2025 and will run every Thursday 9.30am - 11.30am. If you have a little one 0-6mths and think you would love to join other ‘mamas’, build a community of friendship and support, have somewhere to come each week that feels safe, free of judgement and where you explore topics relating to motherhood together, share your stories and offer support to each other - then please do get in touch as there are limited spaces. This is a closed group so that the mums can really get to know each other, build trusting connections and journey through the 10 weeks together.
Contact Briony if you are interested in the next group. briony@standrewschelmsleywood.com or pop into church and speak to us.

Wednesday - Church On The Wood 2.0
Join us as we gather together as families every Wednesday at 5pm, to encourage and grow with our children as well as others. Everyone is welcome to join us, ask questions, be challenged and encouraged as we unpack the greatest story ever told, the Bible.
Thursday - Knitbitz
Our Knitbitz group meet every Thursday 12.00pm - 2.00pm to develop their knitting skills, drink tea, eat cake and biscuits and chat.
Don't worry if you've never picked up knitting needles before. Many of the group were in just that position, but help, advice and tuition is available from the other members.
Knit Bitz has taken on all kinds of knitting challenges from garments for refugees, clothes for the premature baby unit at Heartlands Hospital, clothes for women's refuges and toys for children who visit their parents in prison.
