This week, we’re celebrating and lifting up Kaleb in prayer as he steps out boldly in faith and heads to France for four incredible weeks of volunteering at Spring Harvest—an amazing opportunity to serve, grow, and share the love of Jesus with others.
After a very early start, the journey began with a long drive down to Stansted—complete with multiple unexpected diversions off the motorway that tested both patience and sense of direction! But at last, we arrived at the airport, hopped onto the shuttle bus, and grabbed some well-earned breakfast. Between bites, there were plenty of last-minute check-ins—“Kaleb, have you forgotten anything?”—as the excitement (and maybe a few nerves!) started to build for the adventure ahead.

Kaleb will be serving as part of the team—cooking, preparing meals for staff and other volunteers, keeping the site going but also helping create a welcoming space for everyone attending. But his mission goes far beyond the kitchen. He’ll also be doing youth work, connecting with young people, building relationships, and sharing the hope, love, and truth found in Jesus. I have no doubt Kaleb's football will come into play here. Sadly, he is a Manchester United support but we are still working on him to become a Birmingham City supporter! In the meantime, France is where he will play, coach and teach others.

It’s inspiring to see someone give their time, energy, and heart to serve others and boldly share the good news. We know God will use Kaleb in powerful ways—not just in what he does, but in who he is.
Please join us in praying for;Strength and joy as he serves
Meaningful conversations and connections
Lives to be touched and transformed
Safe travels and a deep sense of God’s presence
Kaleb, we’re so proud of you! Go shine your light and make a difference—we’re cheering you on every step of the way!
